To the USA and back again!

In mid July right after Steph and Jessica left I decided to try for a quick trip to the states.  We were able to get on the rotator on our first try and made it all the way to Baltimore where my mom picked us up.  We were so excited to be able to spend some time with nana and just to be in the USA in general!  We had a great 3 weeks of shopping, eating, and hanging out with Nana, Grandpa Eddie, and Uncle Stephen. 

As many of you know Stephen is waiting for a small intertine transplant and I think he had a great time hanging out with the kiddos!  It makes the time pass much quicker when you have someone to spend it with.  He is now waiting in Pittsburgh where the surgery will take place.  My mom is waiting patiently with him and we are praying for a good organ to become available very soon!

We really enjoyed just being in the states for a bit!  We did all our back to school shopping and had to send back 4 huge boxes of things we bought!  We also were able to get some great pictures done of all the kids.  It's the little things that you miss out on when you are not in the country for over a year!  I was really thankful to get some great pictures of little Connor!

The jet lag was a little rough and Connor didn't sleep well for almost the whole time there, but in the end it was worth it to spend some time with family and those 3 weeks just flew by!
