Madison's 2nd Birthday

The past two years have flown by in a flash! My little ones are 2 and 5! Where do the years go?! Madison's birthday was very low key this year seeing as we were out of town when it took place. We were in Washington DC for her birthday and we celebrated in the hotel! We had a very big day of walking and sightseeing and went out to dinner at a great BBQ place called Old Glory. It was very tasty and the kids were really good during dinner which makes it much more enjoyable as all you parents know! We headed back to the hotel for present opening and cupcakes. We debated waiting until the next day because the kids were so exhausted, but daddy was set on celebrating her birthday on the right day! She opened a few gifts that we brought along with us and we sang Happy Birthday and had some really delicious and cute Elmo cupcakes! She thought the cupcakes were pretty cool! I think her favorite gift was a bubble machine, a daddy pick!
