Happy Halloween!

Well, Halloween has come and gone and we had a great time this year! The kids looked cute as ever and had so much fun! We carved our pumpkins on Monday night and both Austin and Maddie had a great time getting their hands dirty in the pumpkins. Nana was the great carver this year because Mommy doesn't really love to clean out pumpkins. We had a good time and got nice and sticky!

On Wednesday Austin had his Halloween parade and party at school which was a lot of fun. Maddie had lots of fun playing in Austin's classroom where she tries to sneak in to every day when we drop him off. Austin had a little parade around the gym and them sang us some really cute Halloween songs. He did really great performing his songs. We then just had a little party with treats in the classroom. He had a great time showing us all around his classroom.

Then of course tonight was the big trick-or-treat! Austin was Spiderman and Madison was a cute little pumpkin! Might look familiar if you remember when Austin was her age! The little pumpkin was just to cute to not use again. At first Maddie didn't quite know what to think about going up to the houses, but when she figured out that they were putting "treats" in her bag she thought this was pretty cool! We taught Austin a joke to tell which he really pulled off! We taught Maddie to say Happy Halloween, but it was more like, "Happy Ween!" It was very cute! We don't have too many kids in the neighborhood, so we didn't have too many houses to go to, but there was definitely enough for our two. They had so much fun and just crashed when we got back home! Thanks to the power of the internet everyone got to see the kids in their costumes, even daddy! We talked to Grandma and Grandpa Fuller before we went out and then we talked to Papa Stillwell before bed. We also got to talk to daddy who was still in bed recovering from a late night Halloween party!

We hope everyone else had a great Halloween and we will try to get in touch with everyone before we get out of town this coming week!
