A Day at the Farm!

Hi there everyone! Is everyone excited about Halloween? I know Austin is! He got a dose of pumpkin fever this past Friday when we took a trip to Ramsey's Farm. He had a field trip with his school and Maddie and I got to tag along. We had a hayride where we learned about the corn and pumpkins that grow on the farm. Austin went through the hay bale maze and the corn maze. He had a great time spending the day with his class at the farm. He has really enjoyed school so far! We are loving the fall weather up here too. We haven't really had a good fall in about 6 years, so this is nice. The weather has been beautiful and the trees are starting to change. We get to see deer out around our house almost every day when we are out for our walks.

We hope we have at least one more weekend like this because we are planning on going to a place called Fair Hill this coming weekend. Fair Hill is a place where they breed and raise the Thoroughbred horses that race! They also have dogs that do agility exercises. They have a festival this weekend and we will get to see the horses and dogs and they also have some great activities for kids like pony rides. I think Austin and Maddie will have a great time! They both love animals! So, hopefully we will have great weather on Saturday for our outing!
