Austin's 1st Day of School

Austin had his first day of pre-school today at Elam Hearts and Hands pre-school. He had a great time! We had an orientation day last week on Friday where I took him and Maddie to meet his teacher and the rest of the class and they had a great time playing in his new classroom. Maddie had just as much fun as Austin. They played with toys and in shaving cream! What a mess!

So, today was the first official day and Austin loved it! He will be going to school every day from 9:00-11:30. We thought this would be a good start to going to school every day. He said he colored and played and met some new friends! He loves school and took off into the classroom as soon as the door opened. Not even a moment of separation anxiety! He said he is learning some new songs and this week they are learning all about the letter "A". Austin's is a pro at that one! Here is a cute picture of Austin getting ready to head into school.
