We went out to dinner at a great out a delicious Mexican restaurant. You can get a much bigger variety of food in Slovenia versus Italy. The food was great and so were the margaritas!
The next day we headed to the indoor waterpark Atlantis. The kids and I had been there before when daddy was gone, so it was fun to take him back. They had so much fun playing in the water with daddy and Austin even went down the BIG slides which he wouldn't do the last time. This time we couldn't get him to stop! After the waterpark fun we headed back to the hotel for a little nap before going out to dinner. We walked around downtown again and went out for pizza. It was a great little place I found in a tour book. The area was near the University and you could tell they appealed to a young crowd. The pizza was delish! Here is Maddie really enjoying her slice!
On Sunday we checked out of our hotel and had a planned detour on the way home. We stopped by the Postojna caves and Predjama castle. The caves have a really cool tour where you ride a little train into the caves and then go on a 2 hour walking tour. The kids really enjoyed the cave exploring and the train ride! We also stopped by the castle for a quick family photo. We didn't tour the the castle since a large part of the tour is caves and we were already touring another cave. We headed home late in the afternoon after a great day!
