Happy 30th Birthday Chad!

This is being posted a little late, but I haven't had time to post much lately! We have been too excited with having Chad here in the states with us and haven't been spending too much time sitting around on the computer! So, I have a few updates to post....we have been very busy!

Most importantly Chad just turned the BIG "30"! I threw him a surprise party with all his St. Louis friends and family on Friday, February 20th. We had a great time and I am proud to say that he was definitely surprised. I had been planning the party for about the last month or so before he came home and we ended up having a great turn out and a big surprise for him! He was taken out by a great friend of ours Ron Wunsch on Friday night for "happy hour" and was then brought to the location under the pretense that we were meeting for dinner. He walked in and was taken back by all the people there to greet him. His brother Kurt from Dallas and good friend Garrett from Iowa were probably the biggest surprises! He told me later that he had a feeling Kurt was coming in to surprise him, but had no idea about the party! It was really exciting to have Kurt and Becky there because Chad was able to meet his "new" 8 month old niece, Kiersten! Almost all the family attended and most of our local St. Louis friends were there too!

We had a great time at the party and going out with good friends afterward! The kids had a really fun time too! They loved that it was a surprise and really sang a great rendition of Happy Birthday Daddy! Cha Cha Cha! Here is a family picture from the party night!
