Today we went to Longwood Gardens for Breakfast with Santa. The kids and I went with Nana and we had a great time! Austin was so excited to go he was bouncing off the walls. I could hardly control him! It was so cute! Madison on the other hand was all talk.....she told me all day yesterday and this morning how she was going to give Santa kisses and hugs when she saw him, but that big red suit can be a little overwhelming in person! She was not having anything to do with him. The breakfa
st was delicious and when Santa arrived he visited each table and chatted with the kids. Austin was so excited to see Santa just walking around the room. Austin asked him if he got the letter he sent and of course Santa said he did receive it! Then after breakfast we went up to sit on Santa's lap in his sleigh! Austin climbed right up there and sat next to Santa! He tried to encourage his sister to join him, but she lost it when I sat her next to Santa! We tried a couple of times, but she wasn't going for it. Instead we settled for a shot of the three of us with Santa.
After our lovely breakfast with Santa we took a little walk around the conservatory where we took some really cute pictures of the kids. Click on our photo link to check out more pics. The kids had a wonderful time and are counting the days until Christmas! We hope all o
ur friends and family are having a great holiday season!
We also had a visitor arrive last night, Uncle Kevin! He will be here with us until Christmas and then we will all travel to St. Louis to see all our family! Chad is doing well over in Korea although probably a little lonely. He was very happy to receive lots of care packages and cards from all of us who care so much for him. I think the presents we sent him are taunting him because he can't open them until Christmas. We ask that you all keep him in your thoughts and prayers throughout the holidays!
