Relaxing at the Beach!

Hello from Bethany Beach! The kids and I are having a nice relaxing time here at Bethany Beach in Delaware. We are here with Nana, Grandpa Eddie, and Uncle Kevin. Austin is having a great time and we've only been here three days so far. This morning he had a swimming lesson and this afternoon Grandpa took him to his first tennis lesson. He was the youngest player in the tennis lesson and I was told that he held his own even hitting the ball a few times. He did great in his swimming lessons although the water is bothering his eyes a little. He can swim pretty far now and is learning how to stop and take a breath without sinking. He starts two weeks of lessons when we get back home, so I think I might have a fish on my hands pretty soon.

Maddie is exploring everything around her including eating some sand and drinking the pool water! She liked the sand at first (not eating it), but after getting a lot of sand on her she wasn't too happy about it. We are headed back out to the beach tomorrow and we got her a little blow up pool to put under the umbrella so she can play in the water while her big brother builds sand castles. She had a great time at the pool and kept putting her face in the water and blowing lots of bubbles. It seems we might have two fish on our hands.

Chad is doing great over in Korea. He has moved into his dorm room for the year and got his shipment of goods, so he was unpacking most of the weekend. We miss him so much, but we have been able to talk to him a lot on the computer using Skype! It has been really nice for the kids to talk to him almost every day and see him too!
