Hilton Head Vacation

A few weeks ago the kids and I went on a vacation to Hilton Head with Papa and Grandma Beverly. We had a great time spending some quality time with, but we had the worst weather for vacation ever! I have never experienced a vacation quite like this one! Out of seven days at the beach we had ONE sunny day! We did make the most of it though. We spent one day in Charleston which was beautiful, but a little windy. We did get to go on a lovely carriage ride and a nice boat ride. The kids loved both! Friday was our one sunny beach day! We made the most of it spending the morning at the beach and the afternoon at the pool! Austin and Maddie really enjoyed playing in the sand and the waves. We didn't have to worry too much about getting sunburned. We did take some wonderful bike rides and walks and enjoyed the area as much as we could in the rain. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
