Visit to the Sedona and The Grand Canyon

We have had some visitors over the past couple of weeks and we took a couple trips! The first weekend in May Chad's brother Kurt and Becky came up to see us and we had a great time with them. We took a short day trip up to Sedona to check out the Red Rocks and have some lunch. Austin had a great time trying to find the formations that were supposed to look like different things, we had a hard time getting him to see the Snoopy formation.

This last weekend we had Sean, Eva, Ashley, and Brooke up to visit. Austin and Madison had a great time with their cousins. Ashley and Austin wore each other out playing so much. We took an overnight trip up to the Grand Canyon. We had not been there yet, so I am glad we got the chance to get up there before we leave in a few weeks. Since it was Mother's Day weekend we all went to brunch together at Luke AFB and had a really nice time and a delicious brunch.

In other news, we are quickly approaching our move across the country and can't wait to see a lot of our friends and family along the way. We will be departing Phoenix on June 3rd and taking 3 days to drive to St. Louis. We will be leaving the kids in St. Louis for a few days while Chad and I finish the drive in the moving truck up to Chadds Ford, PA where the kids and I will be living for the next year. Then we will fly back to St. Louis for a few weeks before driving in the car with the kids up to my mom's and getting settled in. Chad will be flying out of Philidelphia on July 7th and heading to Korea. We are packing up during the next few weeks and getting ready for the trip. I will try to keep everyone posted by e-mail and blogging about how the trip is going, but bear with me as the next 2 months are going to be pretty crazy!
