Merry Christmas Everyone! We had a wonderful Christmas this year with the kids! They were truly a joy to watch as they opened all their gifts from Santa! Austin was up fairly early at about 6:15 and was really excited to see all the gifts from Santa, but we were able to keep him in bed a little while before getting up with Madison at about 7:00 to open all the gifts! Austin had a great time exploring all the new things to play with and Maddie on the other hand didn't really know what was going on!


Austin had a great Christmas! I think this was the year of Hot Wheels and dinosaurs. I think he told everyone he knew that he wanted Hot Wheels for Christmas this year and I think everyone sent him at least one package of cars! He also recieved two big tracks from Papa Stillwell to play with all his new cars on! He also likes his new basketball hoop from Nana and likes to play with that outside with Chance. I think his other favorite is a great big dinosaur from Uncle Kurt and Aunt Becky that roars and moves and is actually pretty scary, but he loves it!

Madison was a little overwhelmed by everything going on, but I think she enjoyed the few presents that she was able to open herself, big brother helped with most of them. She recieved a lot of great new toys from everyone and is enjoying having some things to call her own and didn't come from Austin first! A couple of her favorite were a cookie jar shape sorter from Papa and a new snuggle blankie from Uncle Sean and Aunt Eva.

Mommy and Daddy didnt' do too bad either and recieved some gifts that they were really wanting! I think my favorite was a gift certificate for a pedicure and massage from Chad. Daddy is really enjoying his new Crocs from my mom!

We hope everyone had a great Christmas and we hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year! We miss you all so much! We feel so blessed to have so many friends and family even though we are all so spread out! We can't wait until the next time we see everyone! Have a great holiday season!
